Golf game rules
Rules for the golf games groups play on a trip, from Nassau and skins to wolf, with worked examples scored by Baroo.
- Best ballTwo balls, one team score: the better one counts on every hole.
- Bingo Bango BongoThree awards a hole, so every player is in it on every green.
- Match playWin holes, not strokes. One bad hole costs you just that hole.
- NassauThree matches in one round, so a bad front nine never ends your day.
- ScrambleEveryone hits, the team picks the best shot, and you go again.
- SkinsOne skin a hole, and a tie makes the next one bigger.
- SnakeNobody wants to be holding the snake on the last green.
- StablefordPoints for every hole you play well, and nothing lost for the one you don’t.
- Stroke playCount every stroke. The lowest total takes it.
- WolfPick a partner after each drive, or back yourself against all three.
